What is HCG?

HCG is short for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which is a natural hormone that’s produced in the body. HCG has many functions and can be used to treat a variety of medical conditions. HCG is the main pregnancy hormone and one of its functions is to allow the body to metabolize fat so that it can be used as energy for both the mother and the fetus

How does the HCG program work?

The HCG program consists of very low dose injections of HCG and a very low-calorie diet (VLCD), which when combined, helps to reset an individual’s metabolism to ensure long-term weight loss.

This program has about 4 phases, with 3 dedicated to dieting/HCG injections. The first 3 phases last approximately 42 days and they are as follows:


Phase 1 (Day 1-2):

  • Gorging Days.
  • hCG injections.

Phase 2 (Days 3-40):

  • hCG injections.
  • 500 calorie diet.

Phase 3 (Days 41-41):

  • 500 calorie diet only.
  • No injections.

Why is it necessary to undergo the “Gorging Days”?

This is a common question, and the reason for this phase is to restore balance to the hypothalamus gland. However, rest assured that any weight gained during this period is quickly shed afterward!

What does the typical diet for this program look like?

Typical day will look like the following:

  • Breakfast: Coffee, tea, water and a fruit
  • Lunch: 100 grams of lean meat, Vegetable, Coffee, Tea, or water
  • Afternoon snack: Fruit, Low carbohydrate (low starch cracker)
  • Dinner: 100 grams of lean meat (remember no same proteins in a day) Vegetable, Coffee, Tea, or water.

You may change the fruit schedule and have one for dinner instead of breakfast.

Two fruits or vegetables should not be taken together.

Keep in mind that the diet above is not the exact diet you need to follow but your 500 calorie diet should, of course, be within the calorie limit and include a variety of healthy foods rich in vitamins, proteins, and other essential organic molecules.

Despite the strict adherence to the 500 calorie diet, you won’t be hungry! The hCG will reduce or eliminate food cravings

Is HCG Safe?

HCG is considered highly safe. Women naturally have elevated levels of HCG during pregnancy without any negative consequences. At present, there are no recognized clinical side effects associated with homeopathic remedies and medications. However, as a precautionary measure, we advise consulting with a doctor before embarking on this diet. If you experience any swelling, shortness of breath, or dizziness, please contact us promptly.

Is HCG Safe for Men?

HCG is naturally occurring in men, present in all human tissues, whether male, pregnant female, or non-pregnant female. Men typically experience faster and more significant weight loss results compared to women when incorporating HCG into their regimen.

If HCG is effective for weight loss, why don’t pregnant women experience weight loss?

HCG functions to mobilize fat for the body’s use specifically when there’s a notable reduction in both calories and fat intake. In the context of weight loss, a very low-calorie diet, consisting of the appropriate foods, is employed to activate HCG and facilitate the elimination of body fat.
