Ready to talk?

What is ApexRF?

ApexRF uses bipolar RF energy delivered through multiple electrodes to create uniform “bulk heating.”
The technology includes built-in temperature sensing and auto-adjusting energy features to help maintain a targeted skin temperature and enhance safety.

  • Rapid, controlled heating (up to ~43°C in about 60 seconds per manufacturer materials)
  • Real-time temperature monitoring and automatic energy adjustment
  • Designed as an in-office, non-surgical, pain-free procedure

Note: Individual comfort and results vary. Your clinician will tailor settings and treatment plan to your needs.

How ApexRF Works

Radiofrequency is a high-frequency electrical current that increases tissue temperature between electrodes,
producing general “bulk” heating. In the clinical training materials, sub-necrotic heating is described as triggering
biologic responses including angiogenesis (supporting blood flow) and neocollagenesis (supporting collagen remodeling).

In men’s health applications, these responses are described as supporting erectile tissue function by improving blood filling and by strengthening supportive tissue structures.

Who Might Consider ApexRF?

ApexRF may be considered for men interested in a non-surgical, in-office option to support sexual wellness.
A consultation helps us confirm that the treatment is appropriate for you and align expectations.

Not a Replacement for Medical Evaluation

Erectile concerns can be linked to cardiovascular risk factors, hormones, medications, sleep, stress, and more.
We evaluate the whole picture and may recommend additional testing or complementary therapies when appropriate.

What to Expect

Before your visit

  • Arrive with clean skin in the treatment area (no lotions, oils, or topical products).
  • Shaving instructions and other prep may be provided based on treatment area.
  • We review goals, medical history, and contraindications; then we review consent and post-care.

During treatment

  • The handpiece is moved continuously with conductive gel to help avoid hot spots.
  • A session may take ~15 minutes (including a warm-up phase) per training materials.
  • In some cases, a temporary erection may occur during treatment; this typically does not prevent completion.

After treatment

  • Typically no downtime; patients often return to regular activities.
  • Transient redness and/or swelling can occur.
  • Post-care guidance may include avoiding very hot water for 2 days and avoiding scrubbing or pinching the treated area.

Typical Treatment Plan

Treatment commonly involves a series of visits. Manufacturer materials describe a schedule of
one session per week for ~6–8 weeks, with intervals sometimes adjusted based on clinical judgment and patient response.
